![]() For approx 1000rpm the Rocket made more power before falling over up top. I didn’t want to get the bias of assuming a better spread of power by “seat of the pants” test when a dyne can tell a story.Īs you can see in the dyno graphs, the Rocket made a small gain around 6krpm and then fell below the stock system until 8200rmp. I considered installing the system myself and riding it, but the more I thought about it, the more I would prefer to see a baseline stock run of my bike vs the Rocket System. ![]() ![]() For that reason I cannot comment on the “feel” of the power after installation. I will disclose that I didn’t ride the bike with the system on before it was dyno-tuned. I didn’t bolt it on myself, I had my tuner do that and he said it was straight forward with everything lining up like the stock system. I am very happy with how it looks! It all bolted up without much effort. The piping is stainless steel and I requested and paid for the resonance chamber. I went with black anodised aluminium canister with larger nozzle. PRICE: Black Anodized Full System, Race Spec, Larger Nozzle $604.95 Plus, seeing how approachable Don Lieb is on here and via messaging was great! I realise the stock system on these YZF’s is impeccable, but I wanted a better looking and “free-er” flowing system for mods later on. I could order an exhaust system to the size and finish I wanted. I chose Rocket as they offer “made to order” and customisable options which appealed to me. ![]() Hey guys, just giving a little review of the Rocket “Race Spec” full system on my 2016 YZ250F ![]()
