From their adorable purring to their spine-tingling meows, cats have a wide range of sounds at their disposal, and it turns out that some of these sounds can be quite effective at scaring mice away. But I've started to wonder: would a cat visiting our apartment for a day or three lay down a scent that would linger to unnerve and frighten any more mice from trying to move in on me for a while, without making the room reek of litterbox?
